Diving and underwater tech specialist JFD will be showcasing its Life Support System for divers at next week’s Combined Naval Event featuring its new Stealth Multi-Role rebreather set.
The firm claims its new offering, an evolution of its previous products, has been redesigned from the ground up to unlock a new depth of safety, capability, flexibility, and efficiency.
It described the Stealth Multi-Role LSS as a redefined, multi-role modular and configurable system designed to enhance military diving operations for the future.
As per a press statement, the company said: It incorporates sophisticated simplicity to enhance mission performance, optimise maintenance procedures and offer unparallelled mission flexibility across the spectrum of military diving operations.
Stealth Multi-Role will be fully certified, meeting global health, safety and environmental standards enabling enhanced mission safety and success in the harshest of operating environments.
The firm’s Stealth Life Support System range is already operationally proven globally and in service with numerous NATO and non-NATO countries.
JFD claims the new Stealth Multi-Role design is particularly compact, yet delivers enhanced performance despite being smaller and lighter than the firm’s previous rebreathers. It said the sophisticated associated software provides ease of use and management, while its modular design offers commonality, ease of inventory management and flexibility for mission configuration.
Delegates at our Combined Naval Event in Farnborough, which runs from Tuesday to Thursday next week at the Farnborough International Exhibition & Conference Centre, can see a concept rebreather set and meet the JFD team to learn more.
Diver LSS cumulatively comprise the equipment and procedures that ensure a diver’s safety and wellbeing during underwater operations, especially when extended durations or high pressures are involved. This can include breathing apparatus, rebreathers, saturation diving systems, and other technologies that regulate the environment and support the diver’s physiological needs.
