Scott was appointed Managing Director of Maritime Services in October 2022. Scott leads over 4,500 people including, delivering warship support as well as engineering, manufacture and support of Radars, Torpedoes, Small Boats and Training. Scott represents the UK Munitions business at the Maritime and Land Board level and is the Chairperson of the Joint Venture, KBS Maritime.

Prior to this role Scott was Chief Operating Officer – Maritime and Land.

Scott started his career in 1997 with GEC Marconi in the Clyde shipyards. Scott went on to work across what was to become all of the BAE Systems Maritime businesses in challenging project management leadership roles. Prior to his appointment as Chief Operating Officer – Maritime and Land, Scott spent 10 years as Vice President Programs at Irving Shipbuilding in Canada before re- joining BAE Systems in 2020.

Scott has a BA (Hons) in Business Studies & Business Law and an MSc in Project Management.

Scott is married to Eleanor with two daughters and lives in Surrey. Outside of work, Scott enjoys running, skiing and spending time with his family.
