He started his carrier in Japan Defense Agency in 1998, as a research staff of fluid dynamics research section of naval research center, Technical Research and Development Institute (TRDI). Since 2013, he dedicated to a Maritime Uncrewed System (MUS) research project for the demonstration of real-time underwater situational awareness by the prototyped UUV, USV, and the underwater communication system. Currently, he works as a senior researcher in Naval Systems Development Div., ATLA, mainly contributing to a project to develop the XLUUV for the future underwater warfare.
