Before Martin started at Kraken Robotics 5 months ago, he served in the Royal Netherlands Navy within the MCM branch. Since the first batch of REMUS 100 NG vehicles arrived in the Netherlands in 2018, he has been working with these AUV’s as the first operational Minehunting officer in the Royal Netherlands Navy. During his last four years serving in the Navy, he was the weapon system manager unmanned systems for the RNLN MCM community, where he managed most aspects of the UUV’s: logistics, SOPs, repairs, modifications, courses, etc.
