served in the Italian Navy for more than 35 years. After completing his military studies at the Naval Academy in Livorno, he graduated in Electronic Engineering from the University of Pisa. During his career, he held numerous positions both on board the Sauro Class submarines as Combat System Technical Officer, and later, but not limited to, at the Navy and Defence Headquarters.

Currently, he supports ELAC SONAR in the development of the Integrated Sonar Suite for the U212 NFS programme.
