MESE Software Developer, German Naval Support Command
I was born in 1991 in northern Germany. After a sports-career in rowing I was drafted by the military in 2010. In 2012 I started the officer-training and studied mechanical engineering from 2013 to 2017. I wrote my master thesis in the MESE-Team about connecting MESE to the German corvettes. After being trained as an artillery officer I served as platoon leader in the army seargant training for two years. I was also assigned to be the deputy company commander and could gain experience as military leader of 200 young soldiers. In 2021 I was able to change to the navy and join the MESE-Team. Since then I work as developer and project manager within the team. In this time, I learned a lot about C2-systems and how hard innovation can be. In the last three years we could achieve a lot of successes in different areas and domains. Our big two tasks are to install our software MESE on all six support ships of class Tender 404 and to take part in the REPMUS 24 exercise and serve as middleware and to integrate many different systems and connect them to the NATO network.
