Lt Cdr Wansbury joined the Royal Australian Navy in 2004 as a Maritime Warfare Officer specialising as a Submariner in 2015, her roles at sea include Officer of the Watch, Electronic Warfare Officer, Navigation Officer, Sonar Officer and Operations Officer. Shore roles include Fleet Ops, Event Management and Public Affairs. She is currently undertaking an exchange with the Royal Navy at the Operational Advantage Centre (Maritime Warfare) where her focus is autonomous systems doctrine development. Lt Cdr Wansbury graduated first in her class with a Master of Leadership from Deakin University in 2022 and has since commenced a Master in Global Cultures at King’s College, London.
