Joseph is an engineering professional with experience in system qualification, acceptance and design verification. Since joining OCCAR (Organisation for Joint Armament Co-operation) as the UK C2 Mission Systems Officer in January 2021, for the Maritime Mine Counter Measures (MMCM) Programme, he has managed the design reviews, system qualifications and service acceptance for the UK MoD. Most recently, he oversaw the qualification of the new RNMB ARIADNE leading to her acceptance into service for the Royal Navy.

Joseph joined DE&S in 2015, where he contributed to key projects, including RFA Tide-class production and Fleet Solid Support (FSS) bid competition phase. Using his expertise in system design verification, technical specification development and leading qualification events, spanning factory, harbour and sea trials, he strives to ensure that systems meet user expectations and adhere to the relevant standards.
