James Gavin is the head of the UK MOD Defence Equipment & Support (DES) Future Capability Innovation Team.
This team contains a Prototype Warfare Team and a Capability Accelerator Team, both who have been implementing lessons learned on Defence Acquisition, including on the rapid
development and fielding of Uncrewed Systems and Digital Battlefield C2 systems. James has worked in a number of Government Departments and Industry before joining DES 4 years ago.
