Vice Admiral (Ret.) Georgios Floros, Hellenic Navy, is the Honorable Deputy Chief of the Hellenic Navy General Staff.

With over 40 years of service, he brings extensive experience in real-world operations, leadership, intelligence, defence, and strategic planning.

He has been deeply involved in NATO, EU, and joint operations, and possesses a strong understanding of contemporary maritime security challenges.

Vice Admiral Floros commanded surface naval units and held operational command at sea. His senior leadership roles included Commander of the Frigates Command, Director of Naval Operations, and Director of the National Joint Operations Centre.

He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science and is a passionate gamer since youth. He is a strong advocate for the use of advanced wargaming and simulation tools in defense training, operational planning, and strategic analysis.

He currently serves as the Senior Defence Advisor at Matrix Pro Sims.
