Mr. Donovan Carey started his career in 2014 as an engineering research student, where he originally learned to leverage the power of group requirements to stretch research dollars. One year later, Mr. Carey would earn a Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering and accept a government role as a software developer in the world of Electronic Warfare (EW) for PMA-272 countermeasures. Here he demonstrated his versatility by developing mission software to support both Domestic and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) across dozens of platforms and nations.

In 2018, Mr. Carey welcomed the new responsibility of project manager, where he would utilize his in-depth knowledge of SW development to cut the costs and timelines of projects while also exceeding customer expectations with technical support and system integration. With over-achieving results, his team would adopt his approach resulting in the increase of software project output on an annual basis without the need for additional personnel.

In 2021, Mr. Carey became a PMA-272 Case Manager where he immediately began employing his strategic and forward-thinking approach across the program. By leveraging a group mentality and being resourceful, he continues to be a major contribution to the dynamic approach of PMA-272 as they lead FMS into the next decade.
