Daniel is Head of the Durham Institute of Research, Development, and Invention (DIRDI); Senior Physicist at Coltraco Ultrasonics; and was the lead developer of the Portascanner® Watertight PRO: the World’s first technology capable of quantifying the potential flowrate of seawater through leaks detected and measured using ultrasound alone. Daniel is a Commissioned Officer in the Army Reserves and Head of the Centre for Underwater Acoustic Analysis (CUAA). He has led numerous scientific research and innovation teams and is a published author at RUSI.
