Chris Cook
Chris joined BAE Systems Digital Intelligence as Digital Defence Business Development Director in March of last year, after 31 years in the Royal Navy.
In Digital Intelligence Chris works both in the Business Development and Strategy Team, and in the Digital Defence Services Business Unit, helping to deliver digital and data solutions into the MOD. Joining the Royal Navy in 1992 and leaving as a Commodore in 2023, Chris’s more recent military career as a Royal Navy engineering officer has seen him as Head of Strategy in Defence Digital, PJHQ’s lead for Overseas Deployed IT Networks in Africa and Europe, BT’s Senior Manager for Data Transformation (on secondment from the MOD) and lead for C4 Networks and Services Capability Planning in Joint Forces Command, now Strategic Command.
Chris is a graduate of the Royal College of Defence Studies, has four university degrees, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Digital Leadership from Warwick University Business School. Chris is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered IT Professional and a Fellow of the British Computer Society.
