LCDR (Eng) Antonio PALOMBA is an officer of the Italian Navy currently employed as Platform officer in OCCAR U212NFS Programme Division.

He joined the Navy in 2003 and, after obtaining a degree as Naval Engineer, the Submarine Department in 2010.

He served on board of U212A Class Submarines for more than eleven years and nearly five of them as Chief Engineer.

During his period ashore he was employed at Italian Submarine Flotilla as Head of Platform and Safety dpt. within Submarine Training School and of Head of Platform Office for Submarine Testing Centre.
