Systems Engineer, DE&S
Having started my career as a MoD apprentice in 1993, I am a qualified electrical engineer with 32 years experience working across many engineering and project management disciplines. I am currently employed as a Systems Engineer at Defence Equipment & Support, working for the Royal Fleet Auxiliary. My role involves equipment enhancements, design changes in line with classification society rules and oversight of the installation and acceptance trials, encompassing the entire flotilla of 11 In Service Ships and assigned with additional entry into service responsibilities for our recently acquired MROSS ship, installing a RoV capability for SALMO. From a DC perspective, I am the lead engineer involved with the introduction of Electronic Damage Control Management System (EDCMS) on Tideclass.
