Robert has 35+ years’ experience on multi-million dollar projects, including serving as project manager and structural engineer responsible for design, procurement, and field installation of the Republic of Korea Navy II Shiplift Refurbishment and Capacity Upgrade. He served on the panel responsible for 2024 Lloyd’s Register CLAME revisions to improve shipyard safety, and was an invited speaker by the Royal United Services Institute of Nova Scotia with his presentation “Drydocking Technology: Naval Support Infrastructure”. He is the Navy League’s 2025 Albert A. Michelson Award winner for his dedication to advances in shiplift and transfer system technology.
