Nick Smart

Nick Smart is Regional Security Manager at Shell, responsible for Europe, Eurasia and Sub-Saharan Africa. Nick leads a team of intelligence analysts and security managers throughout the region to ensure that the full spectrum of security risks are considered in all of Shell’s business activities and future opportunities. A particular focus in recent years has been on managing nation-state risks to critical national infrastructure, including offshore/subsea energy networks, as well as building Shell’s insider risk and counter-espionage programme. Nick is a former Parachute Regiment officer.
