Luis Mejia

Luis “Lu” Mejia is a Senior Solutions Manager at Greensea IQ, specializing in Special Operations Forces (SOF) technologies. Prior to this role, he served as the Project Manager for SOF Technologies at Greensea Systems, focusing on simplifying complex maritime technologies for SOF Operators. With over 23 years of dedication to Special Operations Forces (SOF), Mejia has an exceptional background spanning a diverse array of operational roles. His journey includes serving as SOF operator and his position as the Senior Advisor/Director of High-Risk, Special Tactics, and Insertion Programs for Marine Special Operations Command before his retirement from active duty. During his time at Greensea Systems, Mejia’s primary mission was to simplify intricate maritime technologies specifically for SOF Operators, leveraging his deep expertise in combatant diving and amphibious insertion practices, to establish a seamless connection between maritime technologies and the end-users. Having deployed multiple times overseas as a member of the United States Special Operations Command (SOCOM), Mejia is now passionately dedicated to aiding not only SOCOM operators, but all SOF operators globally, empowering them to find optimal maritime solutions that bolster littoral SOF capabilities. Beyond his impressive military accomplishments, Mejia is also a lifelong learner, holding two degrees from American Military University—a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security and a Master’s degree in Science in Counter-Terrorism and Homeland Security. Since June 2022, Mejia has contributed as an Advisory Board Member at The Honor Foundation (THF), a pioneering career transition program designed for the U.S. Special Operations Forces, that translates elite military experience into valuable contributions in the private sector.
