Lieutenant Commander Salvatore D’Auria

LTCdr Salvatore D’AURIA was born in Naples, Italy. He was commissioned from the Italian Naval Accademy in Leghorn in 2005. Arrived at the SOFCOM in SEPTEMBER 2022. Currently 20 years into his military career. After graduation of Italian Naval Academy in 2010 he attended the NAVY Special Operation Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL training.

He served as combat diver team commander and Naval anti-terrorism unit commander as well. He has participated to the ITA-USA Personnel exchange program and posted to TRADET 2 (Virginia Beach-VA) in 2014. He has participated in international operations in Afghanistan ISAF 2012-2013, Iraq Operation Inherent Resolve 2015 and various National deployments oversees. As of his private life, he is married to Imma and has 3 sons. Salvatore also enjoys playing soccer and enjoys other sports as scuba diving.
