Konrad Mech joined Cellula Robotics with over 30 years of technical sales and marketing experience. He has broad industry experience supporting customers in defense and security, offshore oil and gas, ocean science and academia, and maritime civil engineering of waterfront facilities and infrastructure. He has earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) from Royal Military College of Canada, Bachelor of Arts with major in Commerce from University of Toronto, MBA with Distinction from l’Institut d’Administration des Affaires (INSEAD) in Fontainebleau France, and a Masters Certificate in Sales Leadership from Schulich School of Business, York University, Toronto. Konrad is a registered Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario and Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists in BC. He is a certified Project Management Professional with the Project Management Institute (PMI). He is a named co-inventor on four patents. He is on the Education Committee of the Western Dredging Association (WEDA), and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers’ Ports and Harbors Committee of the Coasts, Oceans, Ports and Rivers Institute (COPRI). Prior to joining Cellula Robotics, he was Sales Director – Coasts, Ports and Inland Waterways for Kongsberg Discovery Ltd., advising clients on selection and integration of acoustic sensors in Work Class ROVs and Autonomous Underwater Vehicles. He also managed a global network of sales agents and dealers, managed within a world-class business compliance regime. Konrad has 24 years of total military service in the Active and Supplementary Reserves, last holding the rank of Major in the Royal Canadian Artillery. He holds the Canadian Decoration for Service. In his spare time he cycles, skis, and plays cello.
