Lieutenant Henrique Vieira da Silva was born in Oeiras, Lisbon on the 27th of July 1994 and joined_x000d_
the Naval Academy in October 2012, having completed his degree in Marine Engineer Course –_x000d_
Mechanical in 2017. Promoted to his present rank on the 1_x000d_

st of october 2023, he is the CBRN, Damage_x000d_
Control, Marine Engineering training coordinator and Command and Control Sea rider for the surface_x000d_
ships since November 2023._x000d_
At sea, he was first assigned to Corvette NRP António Enes, as Mechanical Engineer Officer and_x000d_
Damage Control Officer from 2017 to 2019._x000d_
From 2019 to 2023 was Damage Control Officer at FFGH NRP Bartolomeu Dias. During this_x000d_
period, was part of the Mid-Life Upgrade process for two years in Den Helder, Netherlands, where_x000d_
attended to several training courses about the new systems of the modernization. After that,_x000d_
participated in Operational Sea Training and in several national and international exercises, as well_x000d_
as in the Operation Brilliant Shield – Standing Nato Maritime Group one in 2023._x000d_
Lieuteant Henrique Vieira da Silva is single, and lives in Paço de Arcos, Oeiras. In his free time,_x000d_
he plays field hockey, but not as regularly as he would like.
