Hallvard L. Slettevoll is the CEO and founder of STADT NAVAL AS and the STADT Group in Norway.

He has been the innovator and head of drive developments for 40 years by now, responsible for

4 generations of high power AC motor drives for industrial and maritime applications.

During the past 15 years he has been devoted to the development of a noise free sinusoidal AC drive

and propulsion technology – the STADT Lean Propulsion®.

– This patented drive solution got the Innovation Award by RINA in London in 2023 , and is

successfully implemented on 30 ships so far, demonstrating its remarkable high reliability.
