Gavin Green is a Business Development Manager for General Dynamics Mission Systems–United Kingdom. Gavin brings a wealth of expertise in

mission system capabilities to his role, where he focuses on advancing

opportunities in the Air and Naval domains. With deep technical knowledge in sonics processing, stores management

systems, and tactical data links, Gavin plays a key role in aligning innovative solutions with strategic customer needs.

Starting his journey with General Dynamics in 1997 as a Senior Software Engineer, Gavin progressed into successive technical leadership roles and became Principal Lead Engineer. There, he played an instrumental role in pioneering the company’s first open-system mission computers

and established its Tactical Data Links team, reflecting his ability to drive complex engineering programmes to successful delivery. In 2012, he transitioned into Business Development, where he continues to bridge the gap between engineering innovation and market opportunity. Gavin holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Portsmouth and is a Chartered Engineer. He began his career as a Research

Engineer, developing next-generation aircraft cockpit displays and advanced graphics technologies.
