In 1998, Peter received an MSc in vehicle engineering from the Royal Institute_x000d_
of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm. In 2004, he received a PhD in lightweight_x000d_
structures, with focus on damage tolerance of composite structures, also from_x000d_
KTH. After a short stint in the composite industry, he did a Post Doc at_x000d_
Aalborg University where he could continue to focus his research on damage_x000d_
tolerance of composites structures. In 2008, he started working at the Swedish_x000d_
Defence University where he became an associate professor in military_x000d_
technology. The work was party focused on weapon effects and protection_x000d_
against weapon effects. As of 2021, he works as an associate professor at the_x000d_
Swedish Defence Research Agency with assessment of vulnerability and_x000d_
lethality. The work mainly concerns the combination of conventional weapons_x000d_
and moving platforms such as vehicles, ships and aircrafts.
