Paul Dahlke is Head of Technology Management at Rheinmetall – Division Naval Systems. He is responsible for Technology Portfolio Management and coordinates the national and international R&D projects to develop technologies for future naval vessels, including technologies for unmanned naval systems. In this position he represents Rheinmetall – Division Naval Systems at several committees on EU Level, as SeaNaval Directors Committee. Within Rheinmetall – Division Naval Systems, he is responsible for all national and EU-related R&D Projects, including European Defence Fund Projects and Technology Studies for EDA. Previously he was staff officer at German Armed Forces and research associate officer at Helmut-Schmidt-University, University of Federal Armed Forces Germany, where he graduated with a Doctor of Engineering with his thesis: “Agile ModelBased Systems Engineering for Naval Vessels Design”. For several years he was member at the Association of German Engineers Expert Committee 710 (VDI FA 710): “Agile Product Development of Mechatronic Systems” and member of the German Chapter of INCOSE (GfSE) “Agile Systems Engineering Working Group”. He holds various publications in the field of agile product development and Model-based Systems Engineering for naval vessels design.
