Dennis Doan is the Product Manager for EOD systems at Greensea IQ, where he leads the development and lifecycle management of autonomous technologies supporting Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) and mine countermeasure missions. Drawing on over 21 years of combined military and private sector experience, Dennis serves as a critical bridge between frontline operator needs and cutting-edge engineering solutions.
A retired U.S. Navy EOD Master Technician Senior Chief, Dennis spent two decades leading high-risk underwater operations in support of global combat and security missions. His operational expertise includes underwater mine clearance, ordnance recovery, combat diving, and unmanned systems integration. He has deployed to multiple conflict zones, including Afghanistan and northern Africa, where he led over 100 combat missions and was awarded the Bronze Star for his leadership and performance under fire.
At Greensea IQ, Dennis spearheads the strategy and execution of autonomous ROV platforms and EOD Workspace software, overseeing multi-million dollar defense programs and guiding cross-functional engineering teams. He plays a key role in aligning product capabilities with the evolving requirements of the U.S. Navy and its partners, ensuring that technology remains reliable, mission-focused, and ready for field deployment.
Dennis is also a seasoned training program developer and instructional designer, having designed and delivered a high-risk curriculum during his tenure at the Navy’s EOD Training and Evaluation Unit. His efforts have led to streamlined training cycles, improved operator readiness, and enhanced system integration across Navy platforms.
He holds numerous certifications in EOD to include underwater robotics, hazardous materials handling, and military safety, and Master Training Specialist. With a proven track record of program management, technical leadership, and operational excellence, Dennis continues to shape the future of subsea defense and autonomy for the warfighter.
