David is an experienced Capture Lead and Product

Design Authority with over 30 years’ experience in Naval

Combat Systems; primarily as a user, trainer and for the

last 19 years focussed on test, acceptance and training

expertise including Maritime Autonomous Systems. Prior

to moving into a full time Maritime Autonomous Systems

role David has work across all core areas associated

with the Underwater Battlespace. This includes various

Sonar, Command and Control systems and wider

Combat System components. A Recognised Thales

Expert his experience also includes support and services

across the underwater pillars associated Submarine

sensing, Anti-Submarine Warfare and Mine Counter

Measures. David also chairs the Society of Maritime

Systems Maritime Autonomous Systems Group Council.
