Dave Allen is currently the Director for Maritime Engagement in UK, Europe, Africa at Anduril Industries. Dave also focuses on Business Development across a range of products for specific European Nations and is responsible for Strategic Industry Partnerships. Dave was born in Portsmouth, UK but following an extensive career in global defence he is a dual UK and Australian Citizen and a United States Permanent

Resident. Dave holds Masters degrees with Distinction from the University of New South Wales in Business Administration and in Systems Engineering. Prior to joining Anduril in December 2022, Dave served in the Royal Air Force flying as a sensor operator on the Nimrod MR Mk2 Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA). He later migrated with his family and joined the Royal Australian Air Force as a Mission Commander on the AP-3C Orion MPA. Dave was then selected to be the first Australian

embedded in the P-8 MPA Joint Program Office in NAVAIRs PMA-290, located in Patuxent River, MD. Following a successful military career, Dave joined defence industry and worked as an executive for Boeing in Huntington Beach, CA standing up the XLUUV business line responsible for the USN Orca program and concurrently working as CEO of the Liquid Robotics subsidiary. Dave returned to the UK in 2020 for

an opportunity to reinvigorate the General Dynamics maritime business.

Dave is married with four adult children and two grandchildren. For hobbies, he is an avid American Football fan and plays the bass guitar (much more quietly nowadays!)
