Chris Izuka

Chris Izuka is GE Vernova’s Key Account Manager for the defence sector. He is responsible for developing and fostering trusted relationships between GE Vernova and the Royal Navy, Ministry of Defence (MoD) and other major naval clients, and for

developing business growth strategies. Chris has spent his professional career with GE, commencing as a graduate electrical and

electronic engineer in 2005. He is a Chartered Engineer and holds a Masters in Power Systems. Chris has used his skills in engineering project leadership since 2011, working in a range of technical disciplines, including power and propulsion, software and

automation, and energy storage, for UK and overseas naval clients.

One of Chris’ significant achievements has been to lead the GE Vernova engineering team that delivered HMS Queen Elizabeth into her home port in Portsmouth in August 2017, following completion of first-of-class P&P Sea Acceptance Trials. Chris is passionate about creating strong collaborative and strategic relationships having

spent a year embedded within BAE Systems (Type 26) and over two years embedded within Babcock/MoD (MSSP).
