Head of the Norwegian Submarine Service, Royal Norwegian Navy
Captain(N) Jim Robertsen is currently Head of the Norwegian Submarine Service stationed at Haakonsvern outside Bergen. He initiated his military career in the Norwegian Airforce from 1993. In 1995 he started the Naval Academy which led him to the Norwegian Submarine Service where he has spent a significant part of his navy years, including 4 years as CO of a submarine. He has also served as a senior staff officer at the NATO joint force command in Brunssum and in the Norwegian Defence staff in Oslo. In 2021 he graduated from NATO Defence College in Rome.
