Andrew Humphries joined Thales as an engineering graduate

in 2008, initially developing software and then leading

engineering teams on sonar, electronic warfare, UAS and rail

programmes.

After a brief period with Leidos UK, Andrew joined QinetiQ in

2017 at Farnborough. Following a 2-year secondment at HQ

Air Command leading a rapid capability project, he then

assumed leadership of an engineering team in the

Helicopters Portfolio at MOD Boscombe Down delivering on

programmes such as Crowsnest for CSG21 and New

Medium Helicopter.

He returned to Thales at the start of 2023, initially as the

Technical Lead for ISR Research & Development before

moving to his current role in early 2024. Andrew is the

Product Line Manager for Integrated ISR Systems across the

UK and France, which includes the solutions for the

Peregrine RWUAS and Watchkeeper Tactical UAS.
