The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity Hosts Evening Reception ' Sponsored by Navy Leaders and L3Harris ' Thanking Supporters of the Charity Following Royal Navy Admiralty Service
On 4 December, the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity (RNRMC) welcomed supporters and friends of the charity to an annual evening reception at St Martin-in-the-Fields, Trafalgar Square, with thanks to generous sponsors which included Navy Leaders and L3Harris.
The reception follows the traditional Christmas lessons and carols of the Admiralty Carol Service, attended by the First Sea Lord, Admiral Sir Ben Key, and members of the Navy Board which officially marked the start of the festive season for the wider naval family with the lighting of the first advent candle.
Held in the Crypt, the reception and its preceding Admiralty Carol Service provided an opportunity for the Naval Service to thank those in attendance for their continued commitment to the RNRMC’s mission to support sailors, marines and their families for life.
Sponsorship of this reception by Navy Leaders, which is a sub-division of the Defence Leaders brand, marked the start of their Bridge Partnership journey with RNRMC and we are delighted to announce them as valued partners moving forwards. The Bridge Partnership provides companies with an official alliance to the RNRMC, offering the opportunity to work closely with the charity and pledge support to our vision.
Since 2009, Defence Leaders has been serving the global military community with insights, debate and peer-to-peer engagement opportunities via their portfolio of best-in-class events, and now two leading digital platforms focussed uniquely upon the land and naval domains. Their ethos of opening dialogue and collaboration within the defence sector, and more specifically with the Royal Navy under their Navy Leaders banner, makes them an ideal partner for RNRMC.
On their decision to join the RNRMC Bridge Partnership, Nathan Martin, Founder and CEO of Defence Leaders, said:
"We are delighted to be providing ongoing support for the charity's valuable work boosting morale and improving the lives of sailors, marines and their families. At Navy Leaders we take pride in organising the very best industry engagement events for the naval community and alongside the RNRMC's many other supporters our membership of the Bridge Partnership means we can contribute towards serving those who serve us all."
Alicia Burnett, Corporate Partnerships and Events Manager at RNRMC said:
“All of our corporate sponsors play a vital role in enabling us to continue our work in support of Royal Navy, Royal Marines and Royal Fleet Auxiliary personnel, past, present and future.”
