Counter-drone specialists D-Fend Solutions has just launched EnforceAir2, its latest “takeover” anti-drone system optimised for maritime and naval use.

As per a recent press statement, the company, which has its HQ in Israel and bases in America, the U.K. and Japan, has adapted its technology to meet strict military standards and toughened it to withstand the often harsh conditions faced at sea.

EnforceAir2 is a radio frequency (RF) system that is cyber-based, non-kinetic, and non-jamming. It is designed to allow operators “to detect, locate and neutralize rogue drones.”

The firm claims EnforceAir2 Maritime allows for “seamless integration and interoperability with existing naval defence systems” and does not interfere with a ship’s existing communication and navigation systems.

It says EnforceAir2  provides “advanced drone threat mitigation capabilities to protect maritime assets and personnel.”

The system uses “an ultra-wide-band antenna offering wide frequency range support and 360° azimuth coverage, designed for ground-level and shipboard deployments.”

D-Fend Solutions' President and Chief Product Officer Yaniv Benbenisti commented: “Naval and maritime counter-drone operations bring unique challenges that must be addressed without compromising safety or advanced communications.

“EnforceAir2 Maritime, developed with insight gained through our deep experience with this sector, achieves this by supporting a scalable and non-disruptive system to detect, locate, and take control of rogue drones in maritime environments, ensuring operational continuity and protection for critical naval and maritime assets.”
