2 Twelve Solutions to transform and digitise US Navy's enterprise network
The US Navy has selected 2 Twelve Solutions to operationalise its modern enterprise capabilities into a secure enterprise network.
The other transaction agreement (OTA), awarded on 3 August, has an estimated value of $93.5m.
This OTA will allow to productionise the comprehensive technology prototype offered by 2 Twelve Solutions to transform, digitise, and govern the US Navy’s enterprise networks.
The comprehensive solution includes the company’s advanced application programming interface (API), multi-cloud platform and Orchestrated Repository for the Enterprise (ORE) that uses its secure datacentre infrastructure.
The company said that this cloud-native solution, underlying the platform and ORE were originally developed for the US commercial financial sector.
Later, the prototype effort proved that this technology can be used for enhancing mission effectiveness of the US Navy’s information technology (IT) platforms and systems, including Naval Digital Platform (NDP).
NDP is a crucial element in the Navy’s enterprise digital transformation.
2 Twelve Solutions CEO and founder Lloyd Osafo said: “We are thrilled and honoured to continue our partnership with Navy through this contract award.
“This exciting technology will directly impact the Navy’s active personnel and missions they support by driving digital transformation of core technology systems.”
According to 2 Twelve Solutions, the development and implementation of this cloud-native technology is a result of the company’s End-to-End Engineering Laboratory (E3 Lab) and its engineers.
The E3 Lab is a datacentre laboratory capable of precisely simulating the enterprise environment and providing end-to-end solutions.
The laboratory includes various cloud platforms and is highly configurable and scalable.
The datacentre allows 2 Twelve Solutions to prototype emerging technologies as well as create and assess technical standards, concepts, specifications, tools and processes in an end-to-end scenario.
