Vessel Arrest Systems was borne from a UK Government Home Office project, deploying our first system in 2003 with continuation development from 2004-06 under formal guidance from the UK Home Office. From 2007-10, we expanded our capabilities for vessel stopping solutions, delivering a portfolio through the UK Contest Counter-Terrorist Strategy, achieving success in above-and-below water stopping capabilities:
The Process, Protective Layering strategies to deter/delay incidents evolving, vessel arrest offers:
• Vessel Arrest Launchers: from light-weight, hand-held solutions to manned units and mounted systems fitted to unmanned vessels, the Vessel Arrest Launcher systems continue to develop into multifunctional tools of maritime interdiction.
• Vessel Arrest Booms: originally a static solution protecting UK Naval assets, the Vessel Arrest Boom expanded into a dynamic device, acting as another product of diverse security options in underway stopping capabilities.
• Vessel Arrest Fence: both surface and sub-surface capabilities, the Vessel Arrest Fence acts as a guardsman against vessels and sub-surface attack. We deliver sea-bed to above-surface protection, offering the simplicity of static stopping (your primary layer in protection), to smart-detection sub surface.
• Vessel Arrest DHED: Large Vessel Stopping/Displacement Hull Stopping.
• Vessel Arrest Sub Surface Vessel Capture and Delay Systems offering static net systems, Smart Net Systems and underway capture nets.
