Globus Metal Powders are a UK-based melter and atomiser of high-grade alloy powders for the Defence, Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Energy and other demanding market sectors. We focus on metal powders for PM-HIP (Powder Metallurgy – Hot Isostatic Pressing) applications and produce powders with very clean chemistries and ultra-low oxygen content [ULO]. We also produce and develop powders for additive manufacturing use, such as in L-PBF, DED and other common ‘3D print’ techniques.
Operating a Vacuum Inert Gas Atomiser, and having our own in-house metallurgists, laboratory and post-processing equipment, means we have complete control over the alloying and production of our powder alloys.
We also work with partner companies to develop PM-HIP component solutions, replacing castings and forgings, to provide efficiencies and lead-time gains in existing supply chains.
