Since 2017, DIODON Drone Technology has been designing, manufacturing and integrating a range of maritime aerial mini-drones conceived from the outset to operate in the most demanding environments. Bringing R&D, production and operational integration under one roof, the company delivers reliable, robust, and easy-to-deploy solutions that extend the reach and enhance the capabilities of naval and maritime professionals worldwide.

Our mission is to act as the air-to-sea interface, providing systems that increase operational coverage, resilience and responsiveness for naval forces at sea and along the coast, whether for intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, search and rescue or amphibious support missions.

This approach relies on two complementary pillars: product development and systems integration. The DIODON HP30 embodies this vision. Fully waterproof, inflatable and compact, it has been built to withstand real maritime conditions: strong winds, spray, rain, rough seas, while remaining simple to operate. Deployable in less than one minute from a boat, beach or moving platform, it combines endurance, stability and versatility, providing operators with a reliable ISR capability in all circumstances.

Beyond product development, DIODON has built comprehensive expertise in system integration within naval architectures. Its drones are designed to fit seamlessly into existing C2 and CMS environment and to operate from fast crafts, manned vessels or autonomous surface platforms. This integration know-how, proven through multiple sea trials, ensures smooth interoperability between aerial, surface and command assets.

UAV × USV interoperability stands today as a key focus. During NATO’s Task Force X experimentation, DIODON successfully demonstrated the ability of its systems to be launched from autonomous surface vessels, maintaining full data continuity within the allied command structure. These achievements are the result of years of work on coordination between autonomous systems, resilience in harsh maritime environments, and robust communications in degraded conditions.

By combining expertise in maritime UAV design and multi-platform integration, DIODON transforms operational needs into tangible, mission-ready capabilities. In close cooperation with end-users, the company develops solutions that adapt to real-world constraints, evolve with naval doctrines, and actively contribute to the modernization of maritime forces.

Based in Toulouse, DIODON Drone Technology gathers engineers, technicians and maritime operators driven by a common ambition : shaping the next generation of air–sea robotics.
