EdgeDVR is a powerful hardware and software suite that has become a worldwide standard for divers and ROV operators working in offshore oil and gas, offshore renewables, subsea inspection, surveying and other offshore industries. Offering simultaneous recording of high-definition and standard-definition video, it provides a comprehensive and easy-to-use capability that fulfils all major requirements of inspection, repair and maintenance, whilst remaining accessible to users of all ability levels.

EdgeDVR allows you to record up to four video channels at a time and also enables recording and control of multibeam sonars. The system features built-in black box recording and video can also be streamed over the local area network.

Through a partnership with Harvest Technology, Digital Edge Subsea can also offer video streaming to the cloud over low bandwidth, allowing remote situational awareness of offshore operations from anywhere in the world.

Digital Edge Subsea uses Harvest Technology’s embedded software to facilitate streaming high definition video in as little as 250kb of bandwidth, removing the requirement for adding LEO satellite comms to existing VSAT systems.

We can now offer full remote inspection through our partnership with Harvest Technology, allowing the inspector and technical authorities to remain onshore, recording 4 channels of high definition video, complete with serial data as both overlay and logged files, from anywhere in the world.
