ARRK Europe’s Nuneaton Technical Centre (NTC) has been delivering engineering capability in the UK for more than 60 years, with a strong focus today on components, assemblies, and engineered systems for defence and maritime programmes. Tooling sits alongside these as a key support function, helping us deliver accurate, repeatable production across a wide range of structures and materials.
A major advantage of the NTC is its vertical integration. Concept development, design, simulation, machining, composite manufacture, assembly support, and inspection all take place on one secure site. For defence and maritime customers, this reduces programme risk, shortens lead times, and keeps sensitive work under tight control.
Our component and system capability covers both composite and metallic parts. We work with Glass Fibre, Aramid, and Phenolic materials, supported by autoclave and oven curing, and we carry out pattern‑making, painting, and ICorr Level 2 coating inspection to ensure parts are ready for harsh maritime environments. The set‑up supports everything from early development work to repeatable production.
Tooling supports all of this. We design and manufacture bespoke tooling, jigs, and fixtures that sit alongside the components and systems they’re built for. Because the tooling is developed in the same workflow as the parts it supports, issues can be resolved quickly and quality stays consistent. When required, we also develop hybrid or composite‑based tooling with embedded sensors for real‑time monitoring, helping customers reduce downtime and improve traceability.
By keeping design, manufacturing, and inspection teams working side by side, NTC can move efficiently from concept to prototype to final product without the usual friction points. We work as a partner rather than a transactional supplier, helping OEMs and Tier 1s deliver components, systems, and supporting tooling that meet the demands of modern defence and maritime platforms.
The NTC operates under ISO9001 and AS14001 and holds Cyber Essentials Plus, reflecting the level of control required for defence work. Through the first half of 2026, we expect to complete AS9100 certification and achieve SC21 Bronze, further strengthening our position within the defence and maritime supply chains.
